Random

Just running in really quick to say that I LOVE my new doctor's office. I had my first appointment yesterday and everyone there is really nice. The office is very nice too and as alot more upgrades than my previous doctor's office. The Nurse Practitioner that I saw yesterday was shocked when I told her that my doctor told me to google beta-thalassemia. She broke everything down for me and told me that she would review my blood work and decide if i need to be retested and most likely get my husband ordered for some blood work. I got some more goodies (magazines, coupons, and a can of formula), so I need to sit down and go through that. We got to see the baby again and we were amazed at how different the ultrasounds were after a few weeks. I had an ultrasound at my old doctor's at 6 weeks 4 days, and BT (what we call the baby for now) just looked like a blob. But yesterday at 9 weeks 5 days, BT looked like a real baby! We could see the head, belly, and arms and legs, We were also able to see BT's brain, umbilical cord, and heartbeat. They also let us hear the heartbeat. It was awesome. BT was just wiggling around like crazy. I couldn't believe how big BT had gotten. They did say that I'm measuring about 8 days ahead at 10 weeks 6 days. So the doctor will determine if he needs to change my due date or not.
All in all, I am very excited about the new office. And I am excited about the upcoming weeks with BT. I almost out of my first trimester, and ready to start showing. I know I will regret that around month 8 or nine when I will be feeling huge, but right now I just feel fat and not pregnant.
