I know I haven't been in here in a while, but there are a few things I wanted to jot down while I have time.
1. God- I'm a work in progress. I see some growth in myself, but nowhere near as much as I want. I have to buckle down and focus more and make God more of a priority.
2. Working from home-WHEW! this first day kicked my butt! I think I got a little better as the day went on. It's nothing like I thought it would be though. My work schedule is from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. so that takes some getting used to. I'm definately going to like not starting work until 10 though.
3. Exercise- I haven't done crap! but I have a new schedule and a new goal and new deadline. I have a show in december (dance), so I want to get in shape for that. So since I don't start work until 10 a.m. I'm going to go to the gym three times a week in the morning and go to dance class in the evening at least once a week.
4. Football season-also known as single married woman season. lol. oh well mabe I will plan a few football parties this year
5. Housekeeping- I have sucked at that too, but I have to revamp my scheule with my new working schedule. That's still a work in progress.
6. hair-it's growing! my fro is awesome now. My products that have been working well for me lately is my shea butter mix for my twistouts and conditioner and coconut oil for my wash n gos. I'm about to start my wig weaaring until December to speed up my growth. I've also been shedding. A LOT. like a puppy! so I've heard that garlic is good for shedding so I'm researching garlic shampoos and conditioners. pics to come soon.
7. New-Oh I got a new ring! it is beautiful. I call it THE ROCK. lol. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow
8. Finances-everthing is pretty level right now. I gotta revamp or budget, due to my slightly lower income, and I need to add in more couponing and we need to start contributing to our savings. I also need to quickly research Roth IRA's for my former emplyers pension money that they owe me.
9. Cooking-I'm going to start cooking 3 times a week (opposite of gym days) and going out to diner once a week. I really want to incorporate a new meal every week, cause we are getting tired of the same stuff, but we will see.
10. Everything else is pretty much the same. God is good, hubby is good, life is good.
